Shaker Cabinets

The kitchen designed for our clients in Cheadle perfectly balances functionality and timeless design, tailored to suit a busy modern lifestyle. Central to the space are classic shaker cabinets, which bring structure, elegance, and a sense of heritage to the design. From the outset, the clients were deeply involved in shaping the space—sharing reference images and design preferences to ensure every detail reflected their vision.

Soft off-white shaker cabinets are paired with natural ash accents to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Corchia Quartz worktops, with their distinctive marbling, introduce a refined aesthetic while offering lasting durability for daily use. A venting gas hob was chosen for both practicality and its seamless fit within the cabinetry layout.

A striking architectural feature of this kitchen is the pair of custom-designed archways, which add a soft, sculptural element that elevates the overall aesthetic. These arches beautifully frame the main cooking and storage areas, lending a unique character to the space.

The layout is designed to maximise natural light, with large windows and thoughtfully placed lighting fixtures that keep the kitchen bright and open throughout the day. Brass pendant lights over the island, open shelving, a wine cooler, and integrated seating enhance both style and everyday function.

This project highlights how shaker cabinets can anchor a kitchen with timeless appeal, while thoughtful design transforms the space into a practical and elegant heart of the home.
