Handmade Kitchens
Handmade kitchens are all about the personal touch—We believe in designing kitchens that reflect our clients' needs and tastes. This kitchen on Hillington Road was designed as a versatile family space, perfect for a variety of uses, including socialising, entertaining, and relaxing together as a family.
Background
Our client already had a certain amount of carpentry experience, so it was important to include real wood in our material choice to reflect this. Our approach to bespoke kitchens is perfect for this reason: you are able to tailor the process of designing a kitchen down to the finest details and make it personal to you and your family.
As our client wants to use real wood and make the most of the tactile nature of the material, we chose a full stave wood worktop that is 6 centimetres thick and incredibly heavyweight. Full stave worktops are made of blocks that run the full length of the worktop without any joins. This is a beautiful and sleek choice as it allows the natural features of the wood to stand out while preserving the high quality of the material. With this worktop, the kitchen is instantly more personal and is a reflection of our client’s passion.
Design
For this kitchen design Manchester, we incorporated lots of natural wood, lining the cabinetry and appliances. This creates a warm and inviting space where the family can come together and hang out. To complement the warmth of the wood, the cabinetry is chosen to be painted in an apple green shade that matches the existing hallway colour. This helps to bring together the different rooms of the home.
Since our client has a passion for technology, we designed a kitchen that is both connected and smart. Appliances such as the dishwasher, oven, and microwave can be controlled via a device, simplifying cooking and enhancing their vision of a welcoming kitchen equipped with modern technological features.
Design Process
The design process is simple. It starts with a brief discussion of what you are looking for. Our design process begins with a detailed discussion to understand your unique requirements. Recognising the significance of a bespoke kitchen to our clients, we take the time to explore exactly what you envision. Based on these discussions, we create an initial presentation, that includes a 2D plan, 3D visualisations, Mood board, VR experience and cost estimates. Luxury modern kitchen design stands out because every detail, no matter how small, is carefully considered and refined. Our goal is to create a kitchen that you truly enjoy spending time in. Our priority is to design luxury kitchens that bring you joy.

A Handmade Approach to Kitchen Design
Choosing a handmade kitchen allows for a level of care and attention that supports truly personal design. Every decision, from materials to proportions, is guided by how the kitchen will be used and the atmosphere it needs to create within the home.
Because our kitchens are bespoke, we are able to adapt each element to suit individual preferences and practical needs. Cabinet interiors, door styles, worktop thicknesses and finishes can all be refined to reflect both lifestyle and taste. This approach works especially well in family kitchens, where spaces often need to support a variety of activities throughout the day.
Timber plays an important role in many handmade kitchens. Its natural texture and warmth bring a sense of depth and comfort, while its strength makes it well suited to everyday use. As the kitchen is lived in, these materials develop character, becoming part of the story of the home rather than something that feels static or fixed.
The result is a kitchen that feels considered, welcoming and enduring, shaped around the people who use it and designed to remain a pleasure to live with over time.
