About Us.

Rob Kemp started his adventure into bespoke kitchen design after leaving Manchester Metropolitan University with a 2:1 Hons BSc in 2010. Working with a top-level industry figure in traditional in-frame furniture, Rob quickly developed a passion for bespoke kitchen design and this role gave him the opportunity to learn from the best in the industry, whilst working with thousands of high-quality bespoke kitchen designs over a period of three years.

He then progressed on to a high-end independent showroom in the quaint village of Knutsford, Cheshire. This sales and project management-based role equipped Rob with all of the skills necessary to oversee large value furniture projects from start to finish, whilst also ensuring the very best level of customer service was maintained throughout.

From there Rob went on to work on large-scale commercial projects in Manchester city centre, managing a team of people, Rob was responsible for the design, procurement, and installation of thousands of kitchens and bedrooms within numerous luxury multi-million-pound city-centre developments.

Having built a wealth of knowledge and experience, Rob began to receive numerous requests for private consultation work. Rob was fast gaining an excellent reputation for quality and service within the industry and Kitchens by Kemp Ltd was incorporated in early 2016.
